My review of Crusader Kings III is not going to be a comprehensive breakdown of every single mechanic of the game (that would make this review an epic novel quite frankly). While others, like myself, were excited to see how they were going to improve the series. There were certainly fears that Paradox Interactive would ‘dumb down’ the game they loved. Saying that Crusader Kings III had pretty big shoes to fill is an understatement. CK2 always had a knack for telling interesting, funny and/or disturbing stories that spread through the internets like wildfire. Of all Paradox Interactive’s grand strategy games, it was Crusader Kings II that got the most attention from the media and gamers.
